The Importance of Satellites

Satellites are crutial in the modern world. We use them for GPS (Global Positioning System), cell phones, and many other luxeries. One of the better known satellites is the Hubble Space Telescope. The Hubble Space Telescope is one of the backbones of astronomy in helping scientist understand the universe a lot better. Named after Edwin Hubble ,HST produces some of the clearest images from light years away in ultraviolet, near infared, and optical light.
